Subscription Terms

1. Subscription Plans and Pricing

Votion offers a Pro plan at $59 per seat per month (billed monthly; annual billing available at a discount) and a sales-led Enterprise plan with custom pricing. Workspaces without an active paid subscription have limited access. Current plans, pricing, and included features are displayed on the pricing page. Pricing is subject to change with 30 days' advance notice (see Section 6).

2. Billing Cycle and Charges

When you subscribe, you authorize Votion to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

• Pro is billed per seat. Your monthly charge is the per-seat price multiplied by the number of seats on your subscription.

• Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same date each month as your initial purchase date.

• All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout based on your location.

• If your billing date falls on a date that does not exist in a given month (e.g., the 31st), you will be billed on the last day of that month.

• Annual billing is available at a discount. If you choose annual billing, additional terms governing the annual term and renewal apply at checkout.

3. Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will not receive a separate bill or invoice before each renewal charge. By subscribing, you acknowledge that your subscription has a recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges.

• Monthly subscribers may opt into renewal reminders in account settings.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. You may also cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from your account page.

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features until your current period expires.

• No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.

• After your paid period ends, your workspace moves to limited access. Your data is retained per our data retention policy.

5. Refund Policy

• Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial months. If you cancel within 48 hours of your first subscription charge and have not used paid features, you may request a full refund by contacting support@votionplatform.com.

• Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Votion reserves the right to deny refund requests where paid features have been substantially used.

6. Price Changes

Votion may change subscription prices at any time. If we increase the price of your plan:

• We will notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price takes effect.

• The new price applies at your next billing cycle after the notice period.

• If you do not cancel before the new price takes effect, your continued use constitutes acceptance of the new price.

• Price decreases take effect immediately at the next billing cycle.

7. Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

• We will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 additional times over 7 days.

• We will notify you by email of the failed payment and ask you to update your payment method.

• If payment cannot be collected after all retry attempts, your subscription will be marked as past due. After 14 days in past-due status, your subscription may be canceled and your workspace moved to limited access.

8. Free Trial

New workspaces start with a 14-day Pro trial. The trial does not require a credit card.

• You are not charged during the trial, and you are not charged when the trial ends.

• Because no payment method is required to start the trial, your trial will not automatically convert to a paid subscription and you will not be charged automatically when it ends.

• To continue on Pro, add a payment method and subscribe. You are charged only once you add a payment method and subscribe; the recurring charge amount and billing frequency are disclosed before you confirm.

• After you subscribe, your Pro subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel (see Sections 3 and 4).

• If you do not add a payment method, your trial simply ends and your workspace moves to limited access. You will not be charged.

9. Modifications and Upgrades

• You may upgrade your plan at any time. The price difference is prorated for the remainder of your current billing period.

• You may downgrade your plan at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
